Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellation timing, catered event notice, cruise notice, dockside event notice, cancellation fees, and cancellation form requirements for confirmed Full Circle Yacht bookings.
1. Overview
Confirmed bookings covered by this policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to confirmed Full Circle Yacht charters, private cruises, dockside events, catered events, harbor cruises, hourly yacht rentals, and related Newport Beach yacht experiences unless a written booking agreement says otherwise.
2. Minimum Cancellation Notice
Required notice by booking type
- Catered events must be canceled at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled event time.
- Harbor cruises, private cruises, and hourly harbor charters must be canceled at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled departure time.
- Dockside-only events with no catering must be canceled at least 5 calendar days before the scheduled event time.
- If a dockside event or cruise includes catering, the catered-event rule applies and the minimum notice becomes 7 calendar days.
3. Cancellation Fee After the Notice Window
Late cancellation review
If a cancellation is requested after the required notice window, a 10% cancellation fee applies. The fee helps cover administrative time, reserved vessel availability, staffing, catering commitments, and event preparation.
- Less than 7 calendar days for catered events: 10% cancellation fee applies.
- Less than 7 calendar days for harbor cruises, private cruises, or hourly harbor charters: 10% cancellation fee applies.
- Less than 5 calendar days for dockside-only events with no catering: 10% cancellation fee applies.
4. Date Changes, Booking Credits, and Rescheduling
Because yacht bookings reserve a specific date, vessel time, staffing, and preparation resources, approved cancellation requests may be handled as a one-time date transfer or booking credit instead of a cash refund. Rescheduling is subject to availability, seasonal pricing, holiday pricing, captain approval, and any catering, vendor, or setup costs already committed.
- Approved date-transfer credits must be used for a future Full Circle Yacht booking and are not redeemable for cash unless required by applicable law.
- Requests made inside the required notice window may be reviewed as a reschedule-first request, and refunds are not guaranteed.
- Only one date transfer may be available per booking unless Full Circle Yacht approves otherwise in writing.
5. Catering and Special Orders
Catering, special food requests, bar service, event setup, decor, staffing, rentals, or vendor services may be subject to separate non-refundable costs once ordered, scheduled, prepared, or committed. Catered cruise and catered dockside bookings follow the 7-calendar-day cancellation window.
6. Weather, Safety, and Rescheduling
Full Circle Yacht may reschedule, adjust, delay, or cancel service when weather, harbor conditions, mechanical issues, marina rules, captain discretion, or safety concerns require it. The team will work with confirmed customers on available options when operational decisions affect a scheduled charter.
7. How to Cancel
To cancel a confirmed booking, submit the cancellation form with your name, email, phone number, event date, event type, and reason for cancellation. A team member may contact you by phone, email, or SMS to verify details.
8. Refund Timing
Any approved refund, partial refund, credit, or rescheduling decision may depend on the original payment method, booking agreement, processor timing, event type, and whether third-party costs have already been incurred.
